I have been wearing barefoot shoes exclusively for a few years, but could never find a safety toed barefoot work shoe. Now I can say I will be a repeat customer! Unlike all my other barefoot shoes, these do require a short break in period, but once broken in, these are the most comfortable work shoes I’ve ever owned. Before purchasing, I wondered how a shoe could have a barefoot feel and still have the durability of a work shoe. I wondered no more. They are tough, and feel great. One day I even forgot to bring work socks so I had to work all day in my shoes with no socks. They felt good all day long. That would have been excruciating in my old work boots.

I was so happy to discover these shoes when I was online searching to see if there was another barefoot safety shoe on the market. I had been looking to replace me worn out Birkenstocks. I was chuffed to find these! They are a little expensive for a non leather shoe, but so far they seem to be worth the splurge. They are lighter than my current Birkenstock and have such a comfortable fit straight from the box.
I've worn them a couple of weeks now and I'm loving the flexibility and security they give me in my warehouse job. I recommend these shoes!

These are what have been missing from my barefoot shoe collection. A high quality boot that I can wear in all weather. It’s the shape of my foot and not too bulky but also not uber thin soled like some other shoes— I wanted a sole that could work for me in light snow and last a long time!
These are BEAUTIFUL. My favorite boots of all time so far! I got to try them on at the barefoot shoe expo this year and met Lisandro, who was super kind and helpful. I got a size 37 which is my normal size (although I noticed that their size chart puts me closer to a 36). Worth every single penny!! I hope this company stays in business because if these shoes ever get worn down (we’ll see, because they’re even resolvable!!) I will be coming back :)

Barefoot enthusiast or not these are simply sensationally made and comfortable.

They took me about 4 days to break and now they are so comfy I can definitely tell the difference between wearing these and standard steel toe caps you can get from the high street . They are so much lighter than your regular steel toe caps.

Yes they are pricey but 100% worth it .

Will I go back to standard steel toe caps - no unless in a real emergency and I can't get a replacement pair of barefoot ones .

Would I recommend them - yes I would .

Surprising quality and fit. The style is as advertised and depicted in photos, but fit and finish are well appreciated up close. I’d love a pair of these in indigo (as I wear a lot of raw denim and the indigo rubs off on the shoes anyway!)

I wear barefoot shoes all the time, the exception previously being safety shoes. My feet and knees really suffered in the normal safety footwear. It was a massive relief to finally find some barefoot safety shoes, and the gaucho ninja safety trainers are well made, plenty of room for my wide feet, and mean I can go home without hobbling, after wearing them for a few hours. Expensive, but if you need them , you need them.

I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for about 5 years and at last I can wear them at work too!
I’ve had them for two weeks now and I don’t want to take them off when I get home from work. 10/10 for comfort. I was concerned they may be hot to wear in the sun all day but actually my feet feel cooler than in my previous work trainers. I’m slightly concerned that there’s not enough rubber protection up over the toe but so far so good, they seem pretty hard wearing. Thanks Gaucho Ninja for a brilliant pair of shoes!

The shoes, although arriving in a shabby looking box, the shoes itself are of great quality. I followed the sizing guide and picked a size slightly larger than my exact size and it had fit nearly perfectly. Although these are nitpicks, some of the stitching came a bit loose, and I took a flame to it and smushed it in, and due to me still being new towards walking in these shoes, the back heel of the sole seems to wear out quickly if you drag your feet. Overall I am satisfied with this shoe as it fits all the criteria that I bought it for, and ended up meeting my expectations for the price I have paid.

I am really thrilled with these boots. I have spent £100s on other makes of barefoot leather boots that have not lasted. It is great to have a pair of beautifully designed boots that are made with European leather. You can immediately tell that they are very high quality. And a real bonus to be able in the future to resole them.

I agree with another reviewer that they need breaking in, and to me that is a sign of quality leather.

The boots look really smart, and are very comfortable. Nice colour as well.
