Every figure is a last measurement — the form the boot is built on — and equals the maximum internal dimension when new. Vegetable-tanned leather gives with wear. A starting point, not a rule.

Introducing Barefoot Pals 2.0. The second edition of our hugely popular minimal barefoot desert boot - levelled up.
The Pals 2.0 features the same super soft glove leather and suede, unlined for a natural feel, but this time around with Wide Plus sizing - offering a lower fit above the foot, ensuring they fit like a glove.
A 6.5mm stack height (including a vegetable tanned insole of 2mm and a Gaucho Ninja rubber outsole of 4.5mm) gives you the ultimate in ground connection.
Hand-stitched construction by a master artisan ensures that this collection is of exceptional quality and style, and the optimum in flexibility - the Pals can be folded, twisted, and fitted in a pocket. Like gloves for your feet.
These are an excellent option for anybody with sensory sensitivities; we’ve heard from sensory sensitive customers that it’s the first time in years they’ve been comfortable wearing shoes.

The Barefoot Pals 2.0 are handmade and feature hand stitching, giving a more durable and beautiful finish - not a stitch is out of place. Available in a Wide Plus fit, giving you comfort and foot health where it’s most needed. This fit means that the boot fits more snugly on your upper foot than in the 1.0 edition - it fits like a glove. Perfect for travelling, work days, and around the house - you’ll forget you’ve got them on.
Ultra thin 6.5mm stack height; just 4.5mm on the outsole and 2mm on the insole.
Weighing a mere 164g in the Black and Red models; 178g in Blue and Brown (based on a size 42).
Resolable, giving you years of wear. Because the Pals are built using a traditional method, the sole can easily be removed and replaced without damaging the stitching, giving durability and longevity to your favourite pair.

The Black and Red styles are made from super soft glove leather.

Both have durable, waxed cotton laces in a complementary colour.

CARE Instructions
Suede care: a Nubuck/suede spray and a brass wire brush to keep the material clean and soft.
Leather care: Nourish from the inside out with our cleaning kit including the Gaucho Ninja conditioning cream.
