We use Veg Tan leather from 5th generation artisan tanneries, that provide you breathability and comfort while being durable.

We are opening a new warehouse in Utah in March, and all these pre orders will be shipped from the US, so there won't be extra duties or import taxes in the US.

We extended our return policies, and now you can return for a size exchange or a refund within 3 months after your shoes have been delivered, as long as they are returned in the original new condition. You can find more details in our return policies.

No. Goodyear welted is related to the construction of the shoe and not to the type of rubber. The inventor of the machine that does the Goodyear welt was the cousin of the founder of Goodyear tires, hence the common confusion. Goodyear welted is a traditional technique of constructing shoes that allows you to resole the shoes as many times as required, as long as the upper is preserved in good condition.

We have a warehouse in Ireland, and all the orders in the EU won't have additional custom charges.
For the UK, we have some of the stock in our workshop in Hereford. If not, we will import your order to the UK and then forward it to you with Royal Mail. You won't pay for any of the extra duties.

We want to introduce you to something revolutionary in the Barefoot world:
The first Barefoot shoes made with Goodyear construction.
The Goodyear construction is characterised by a horizontal seam that joins the upper, the insole and a welt. This welt is then joined by a second vertical seam, which joins the entire shoe to the outsole. This achieves the total integrity of the shoe and, in addition, it’s easy to repair.
A characteristic feature of Goodyear footwear until now has been its lack of flexibility. By working closely with the factory and meticulously intervening in every process, we were able to create the first Goodyear shoe suitable for the Barefoot user.
