It's important to me that shoes which I have to buy anew are made of vegan materials since I don't support animal curelty. I've worn barefoot shoes for 3 months so these aren't my first barefoot shoes. These work shoes are noticeably heavier than casual barefoot shoes so my feet feel a little tired ONLY IF my work day includes a lot of walking. Compared to traditional work shoes though, these safety trainers are definitely much lighter. I am a 19-year old male college student in finishing construction and my work requires safety shoes. Because these shoes are handcrafted I see the price as reasonable. For me these shoes are comfortable and breathable. My feet and toes have enough room inside the shoe. Breaking them in only took a day or two and wasn't too difficult nor painful. The shoes look cool and I love that they are black. Shoe laces are variably adjustable, can tie them tight enough for my petite feet. I ordered a size bigger (39) so the shoes are big for me however by using heel grips they fit just perfect. My reason for ordering a size bigger is me wanting to get the maximum from barefoot shoes, which almost always require you to have 1cm extra length. This is due to barefoot shoes not being made to fit all sizes so adding 1cm to your foot length allows your toes to surely have enough room. Even though this website sizing recommended me my actual size (38), I decided to do it my way and just use a heel grip to make the shoe fit because I am afraid my toes would be too curled up in my actual size.

I love these boots! They were a but stiff when I first put them on, of course. I was expecting that and a break in period. What surprised me was how quickly and comfortably they broke in. Every time I put them on they’re more comfortable. Also the additional red laces that were in the box made me very happy:)

Beautiful boots! The leather is just lovely and comfortable right out of the box. The sole is sturdy yet still flexible. Just what i wanted!

I'm glad i finally decided to buy them. They're super comfortable and lightweight, and I have very wide feet. I just wish half sizes were available, as they're slightly too long. But overall, they're really great and will recommend them.

I have been looking for a pair of barefoot safety shoes for a few years now. I was really interested to see if they were as good as they seemed in the adverts. I am pleased to say that they really are everything I had hoped for. Very flexible, the toe protection is nice and low. They are slightly longer than I had expected, but I have adjusted to that fine within a few hours of wearing them.

I’m loving these shoes! After two weeks of ~12 hours of daily wear they’ve held up great! Obviously super comfortable and flexible like I’d expect any barefoot shoe to be. I’m hard on shoes, so I can’t speak to how well they’ll hold up after a year of wear, but they’re doing fine so far.
The “break-in” process only included the tongue on the right shoe and the outside ankle area on both shoes, but that has stretched and flexed and both are fine and normal now.
They are breathable, but I am worried they’ll be sweaty in the summer being plastic. But I still think the pros outweigh the cons being a barefoot shoe.
I will be ordering a second pair when I need them!

I very much like these shoes. They tick the boxes for me with a great sole, hand-stitched, soft leather and, having experienced last Friday in Wales, waterproof. I was worried about fit, especially because the size guide and support recommended a much smaller size than I am used to (normally 43, these were 41!). But they work well once I removed the insoles. In fact they fit my foot much better than vivobarefoots, as the width is in the right place for my rather triangle shaped feet (vbs that fit me end up being really long, and then hurting my toe at the fold). I am definitely too squished with the insoles, but the outsole is thick enough to not need them. The leather is shaping nicely to my feet. So these are now my everyday winter shoe. I walk 4km each day to office and back, and can happily wear these in the office too. Nothing not to like!

I had thought that the very nature of safety shoes meant that barefoot and wide toe would be impossible, but these boots are better than I thought was even possible. I can feel Earth and I can conform my feet to it, and I can delicately adjust my balance (at least, far more delicately than with any other boot that I've tried yet). They are continuing to break in, so I do hope that they'll continue to get better, but even as they are now I am very happy with them. Thank you for making these!

Having found the comfort of the Sneaky Ninjas so good, I purchased these as well.
These are also very comfortable and seem well suited to autumn and spring weather.

Extra Wide 45 are a great fit for my hobbit feet. Veg tan leather is beautiful - comfy for walking about as well as running if needed. I'd prefer to walk around barefoot everywhere but am sick of getting filthy looks - this is the next best thing

I’m used to wearing barefoot shoes in my private life. At work, when I go to the shop floor, I have to wear safety shoes, which are very hard and tight. By the end of the day, I often felt pain in my feet, especially in my toes and the joints around them. These safety trainers are incredible—I absolutely love them. When ordering, I wasn’t sure if they would be worth it, but now I know I should have bought them much sooner. These trainers are like a spa for your feet.

Received my order and was very pleased ,the trainers are very well made and looks like they will last for years, very spacious so my feet has room to move and not cramped up also comfortable to walk in.
