from 450 reviewsAgree with the other guy who left a review. You don't find this type of quality in craftmanship and leather in the barefoot industry. Leather is natural and feels like a second skin wrapped around your foot. It looks and feels like a traditionally handmade boot and not some cheap labour mainstream boot.
Size chart seems right in terms of length, but a bit off in terms of width by 4mm in the extra wide last so take that into consideration. But if you are between sizes like me, go down half a size because the stretchy leather makes it wear half a size bigger. It literally feels like a sock so no need to size up.
Well worth the price and and i hope they continue to grow and release more models in the affordable collection.

Gaucho Ninja has been a blessing for me. Been barefoot for 8 years and i have missed a brand that takes pride in creating a leather shoe in this quality. In the barefoot industry, all of them are mostly cheap labour. Not the case with Gaucho Ninja. You can see the attention to detail in the craftmanship. Has the feeling of handmade goods by people who take pride in their work.
The leather is high quality too. All natural and stretchy that fits like a sock. Upper, the lining, insole are all leather.
Im really intrigued to see what they do next as they put every other barefoot brand's cheap synthetic leather shoes to shame. Gaucho is next level.

These shoes look so unique and stylish. I wish the toe box was a bit wider but I have really wide feet. They are very comfortable and give you a good connection to the ground when you are walking. They are well constructed and made of sustainable materials and have no doubt that they will last for years - even if something does wear out, they are serviceable like shoes used to be!

This is a true barefoot dress shoe with a wide toe box. The construction is very high quality and the fit is perfect. This is the kind of shoe you almost forget you’re wearing because it fits so well.

I recently bought some Gaucho Ninja steel toe cap carpenter boots. I have tried several barefoot shoes, finding none comfortable and the sole too thin for real world pavements, concrete floors. I also dont like trainer type shoes due to the synthetic material always making my feet feel really hot and uncomfortable.
The Gaucho Ninja boots are great, oozing quality with fine leather and a Goodyear welted sole that is just right for the barefoot experience and still cushioned enough for solid hard floors and they look great with a utility come fashion look that suits a work or play situation. Being leather they are really comfy and will look better with age, I'm sure they will last many years.
Thanks Gaucho, super happy with these boots.

Barefoot boat or deck shoes are hard to find. These shoes are soft, flexible, classically styled deck shoes with zero break in time. Comfortable out of the box with a style that suits a variety of outfits. This is my third pair of Gaucho Ninjas and I highly recommend them. Quality is top notch!

Best work boots ever! I've been waiting for years for something like this to come out! Minimal flexible yet sturdy outsole, leather feels high quality, even the laces tighten smoothly! Ankle height is perfect so they don't feel over-built for a mechanic's job. The extra-wide fit is amazing so it gives you plenty of toe splay and there are no pressure points even with the steel toe. That's another thing, the outsole is just stiff enough so it does not flop around by having a steel toe. Sizing is true to size, I wear a 46 EU most of the time and these boots fit perfect. Also for fit, the heel is snug but not tight so you don't feel like you're sloshing around when walking. One very minor thing is the upper lace hooks seem like they might bend easily; however if one should break it should be easily repaired by a local cobbler. I can't recommend these boots enough, my feet have never been happier!

I am a welder, signmaker, and neon glass bender and am on my feet all day. I switched to barefoot shoes a year ago and quickly outgrew all my shoes. I’ve been cramming my feet in to old steel toes for the last year and have been sufferings for it. I finally got fed up and started looking for a solution. Gaucho ninja! The price point was hard for me being from Canada but the recent sale allowed me to grab a pair. So much space for my toes and what amazing quality, Hard to find a shoe that accommodates different foot shapes, but this shoe has more space than the average barefoot shoe! For people worried about sizing; my true size is a 9 or 42 but I ordered a 9.5 or 43 to be safe. I probably could have ordered the 9 or 42. These shoes fit true to size 🙌

Until I wore Gaucho Ninja Goodyear-Welted Barefoot Carpenter’s Boots, I had no idea safety boots could be comfortable, and stylish.
Ordering was very easy on the website and I was kept fully informed until the boots arrived. In my case that was just 2 days.
I adopted barefoot boots from 2020 and struggled to find safety boots for my work walking factory floors, and my pleasure as a hand tool wood worker.
The Gaucho Ninja Carpenter’s boots have been a revelation. Comfortable right from the box, enabling me to be on my feet for 8-10 hours a day in comfort and style.

I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for a couple of years and tried 6 ‘leading’ brands available across Europe, UK and US. This is why Gaucho Ninja are No.1
I can’t recall how I originally found this brand, either online search, generic review but I was looking for a quality barefoot shoe I could wear out on weekends or on casual office days.
Their website showed a nice looking Chelsea boot so I decided to spend the price which was higher then others. The shoes are super high quality, like you would expect from brands like Cheaney, Crockett and Jones, Church etc. Def nothing like any other brand of barefoot. Everything hand finished, the polished veneer, stitching of sole to leather and the elastic ankle panels. Very high attention to detail.
I have since purchased their Chukka boots with exactly the same results.
There used to be a gap in the market for premium quality barefoot shoes which Gaucho Ninja have filled. And they are the only brand to consider!

Decent barefoot shoe, great quality materials, super comfy and looks great!!

The shoes are very comfy and flexible it worth the money. We had an entire day out at the zoo walking all day but the feet were very happy 😁

I love them! Very comfy. My feet are quite narrow so I needed inner soles but once I had those put in, they were soooo very comfortable.

I really like these boots. They are of very good quality. Leather feels also to be of a good quality; not superb but pretty good (I think for superb quality one has to go for bespoke pair and choose the leather himself).
They fit well. I went for extra wide and after taking insoles out they fit very well. So the extra wide option with no insoles fits pretty wide feet. After putting them on for the first time I walked for several kilometers and didn't feel any discomfort. Of course they need some time for leather to break in to be even more comfortable.
The sole is not very thin, which is a matter of preference (weather You like barefoot feel of feeling the ground or rather sturdiness for tough terrain and longevity). As a matter of fact, these could perfectly be used as barefoot hiking boot. They are waterproof, gusseted tongue etc. Leather is sturdy but not too stiff.
I had some issue with one of shoes with my first pair, but staff was very helpful and kind and resolved my problem very fast. Thumbs up for the team.
Soles can be replaced so with proper care I think these can go a long way.
For those looking for high quality, good looking, sturdy and (hopefully) long lasting barefoot boots, high price can be justified.
Maybe the only issue is, if You are ordering from EU, be ready to pay the customs.
Anyways, I would recommend this shoes and would buy again.
